Once your shop is set up and advertised, your shop will be visited by visitors from all over the web. Appee's statistical tools allow you to monitor your shop's activity and determine how m any people are visiting your shop and if they are mostly new visitors or people that have visited your site before. The statistics window is shown below:

This window shows the statistics according to the options chosen from the menu on the right of the screen. The screen can be used to display any or all of the following statistics in regard to your shop:

Visitors

Measures the number of unique visitors to your appee online shop.

Hosts

The number of individual IP addresses that have accessed your site. Lots of people using the same ISP may appear behind the same IP address.

Sessions

The number of unique sessions. A session is generated everytime someone comes to your site. If a user closes their browser and comes back to your site a new session will be generated.

Hits

The number of requests for all objects (pages and images). The difference between hits and page loads will give you an indication of whether people are visiting pages with lots of images.

Page loads

The number of requests for pages. This figure gives a good indication of how long someone stays on your site - think of the number of page loads divided by the number of visitors. The longer they stay the more likely they are to buy something.

What is shown in the main window is determined by the Statistic Options Menu to the right of the window. The Statistics Options fall into two categories:Period and Chart Options.

Period allows you to determine what period of time the main window will display statistics from. You can select four predetermined time periods or define your own time period to display. The four predetermined time periods are :

• Today
• Yesterday
• Last 7 Days
• Last 30 Days

Alternatively you can define the period you would like displayed using the Date From and Date To: fields:

To choose a period from which to view statistics, enter a date into both fields and then choose the period from the Group by drop down menu.

Chart Options allows you to decide which statistics will be displayed (Visitor s, Hosts,etc). Each statistic has a check box next to it that allows you to select or unselect the statistics. Beneath this is an option that allows you to decide if the statistics you have requested to view are presented in a graph or in a table of raw figures.

Once you have decided on the options for the statistics you wish to view, click the Update button, to update the window.
